Softball Recap: Prince Avenue Christian Has No Trouble Against Providence Christian Academy

Prince Avenue Christian had won three straight at home, but on Monday they bumped up to 22-3 to make it four. They were the clear victors by a 10-0 margin over the Providence Christian Academy Storm. The result was nothing new for the Wolverines, who have now won 14 games by eight runs or more so far this season.

As for Providence Christian Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 12-12. Considering the last time they couldn't score was back in August, the team can't take the result too hard.

For Providence Christian Academy's part, Belle Vann was cooking despite her team's loss, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with two stolen bases.

Looking ahead, Prince Avenue Christian will host East Jackson at 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday. The Wolverines are facing the Eagles at the right time seeing as the Eagles are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Providence Christian Academy, they will take on Banks County at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Leopards' pitching crew has only allowed 3.2 runs per game this season, so the Storm's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
