Basketball Game Preview: Heritage Christian Eagles vs. Estes Park Bobcats

The Heritage Christian Eagles will head out on the road to face off against the Estes Park Bobcats at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

It was a Battle of the Birds when Heritage Christian faced off against Front Range Christian on Saturday. Heritage Christian took their contest with ease, bagging a 77-44 victory over Front Range Christian. Given the Eagles' advantage in MaxPreps' Colorado basketball rankings (they are ranked 104th, while the Falcons are ranked 241st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, you're bound to get a positive result if you outscore your opponent every quarter, and that's exactly how it played out for Estes Park on Friday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that they blew Denver Academy out of the water with a 71-33 final score. The matchup was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Bobcats had established a 34 point advantage.

The win made it two in a row for Estes Park and bumps their season record up to 9-9. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 30 points. As for Heritage Christian, they pushed their record up to 12-5 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home.

Heritage Christian came up short against Estes Park in their previous matchup back in January of 2021, falling 66-58.
