Softball Recap: Colfax-Mingo Comes Up Short

Colfax-Mingo was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 6-2 to the Keota Eagles. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Tigerhawks of the 13-10 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in June of 2024.

Colfax-Mingo's loss dropped their record down to 4-16. As for Keota, their win bumped their record up to 10-7.

Looking ahead, Colfax-Mingo will be playing in front of their home fans against Panorama on Monday. The Tigerhawks are facing the Panthers at the right time seeing as the Panthers are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Keota, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 7-0 defeat against Highland on the 2nd.
