Football Game Preview: Paetow Panthers vs. Jordan Warriors + How To Watch

Paetow is 0-3 against Jordan since September of 2022 but things could change on Friday. The Panthers will welcome the Warriors at 6:30 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

On Friday, Paetow strolled past Katy Taylor with points to spare, taking the game 44-30. The Panthers haven't had any issues with the Mustangs recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Paetow got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Derek Stevenson out in front who picked up 139 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Stevenson's longest reception was for an incredible 86 yards. Jovan Rodriguez was another key rusher, rushing for 155 yards and one score.

Wins are hard to come by when you can't run the rock, something Paetow proved: they limited Katy Taylor to a paltry 2.6 yards per carry. The team can thank Jaeden Spelmon for the heroic effort on defense: he. Paetow's ground attack was stronger, having averaged 4.8.

Paetow didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off six passes before the game was over. Player #0 led the group effort, picking up three of those interceptions all by himself. Spelmon is also on a roll when it comes to total tackles, as he's now made five or more in each of the last 13 games he's played dating back to last season. Cayden Ayro was another major factor on D, picking up two sacks and making eight total tackles (3.0 for loss).

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Jordan, who bounced back after a loss on the road back in October. They simply couldn't be stopped last Friday as they easily beat Katy Taylor 56-6. That looming 56-6 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Warriors yet this season.

Jordan's win bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Paetow, they now have a winning record of 5-4.
