Preview: Aquinas Falcons vs. Ramona Rams
Two dominant players in Madeleine De Kodia and Olivia Molina are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Aquinas Falcons and the Ramona Rams will face off at 5:45 p.m. on December 29th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Aquinas is coming into the match hot, having won their last five games.
On Thursday, Aquinas had just enough and edged Rancho Cucamonga out 53-51.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Aquinas to victory, but perhaps none more so than Breanna Bates, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 12 rebounds. Another player making a difference was De Kodia, who scored 13 points along with five assists.
Even though Ramona has not done well against Poly recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. Ramona walked away with a 41-30 victory over Poly. The win made it back-to-back wins for Ramona.
Aquinas has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season. As for Ramona, the win got them back to even at 8-8.
