Softball Recap: John Milledge Academy Sets Scoring Season-High Against Mount De Sales Academy

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask John Milledge Academy). Everything went their way against the Mount de Sales Academy Cavaliers on Thursday as they made off with a 16-6 victory. The win continues a trend for the Trojans in their matchups with the Cavaliers: they've now won seven in a row.

Kinley McLemore was a standout: she went a perfect 3-for-3 with three stolen bases, four runs, and four RBI. Those four runs gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Addie Latimer, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with three stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI.

John Milledge Academy was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .458. They are a perfect 5-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

John Milledge Academy's victory bumped their record up to 8-4. As for Mount de Sales Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 0-7.
