Baseball Recap: Monroe Takes a Loss

Monday just wasn't the day for Monroe's offense. They fell 5-0 to the Sherwood Christian Academy Eagles on Monday. The Golden Tornadoes just can't catch a break and have now endured four defeats in a row.

Javion Tinch was cooking despite his team's loss, going a perfect 2-for-2 with three stolen bases.

Monroe's loss dropped their record down to 5-12. As for Sherwood Christian Academy, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-2.

While Monroe had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
