Softball Recap: Casady Takes a Loss

Casady was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 4-3 heartbreaker at the hands of the Tishomingo Indians.

Casady's loss dropped their record down to 5-17. As for Tishomingo, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-18 record this season.

Tishomingo wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, an 8-7 defeat against Prague on the 2nd. Hopefully Casady paid attention to the Indians' game: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Indians at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday.
