Basketball Game Recap: Yuba City Honkers vs. Marysville Indians

The Yuba City Honkers lost against the Marysville Indians back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. Yuba City was dealt a 65-16 loss at the hands of Marysville. Yuba City has struggled against Marysville recently, as their match on Wednesday was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Demi Boykin had a dynamite game for Marysville, scoring 21 points along with 5 rebounds and 5 steals. That makes it two consecutive games in which Boykin has scored at least 25% of Marysville's points. Another player making a difference was Maya McNeal, who dropped a double-double on 10 points and 14 rebounds.

Yuba City's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Marysville, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Yuba City will square off against Lindhurst at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Marysville is on the road again on Wednesday and play against River Valley at 6:00 p.m. on November 29th.
