Basketball Recap: Milpitas Comes Up Short

Milpitas played a tough match on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were outmatched by the Alisal Trojans and fell 67-37. Milpitas was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 36-10.

They got a good chunk of their points from the dynamic duo of Anika Yalavarthi and Brennalyn David, who each put up nine points.

Milpitas dropped their record down to 2-4 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Alisal, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Milpitas didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 32-31 loss against Willow Glen on the 12th. As for Alisal, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 58-34 victory against Pacific Grove on the 11th.
