Football Recap: Cascade Christian Piles Up the Points Against North Valley

Cascade Christian put their dominant defense on display in the team's third consecutive shutout on Friday. They breezed past the North Valley Knights to the tune of 55-0. The result was nothing new for the Challengers, who have now won seven contests by 27 points or more so far this season.

Cascade Christian was led to victory by Bryson Walker and Deryk Farmer. Walker rushed for 97 yards and three touchdowns on only 11 carries, while Farmer rushed for 60 yards and one TD on only seven carries. Walker is on a roll when it comes to rushing touchdowns, as he's now punched in two or more in each of the last four games he's played. Elijah Condello was in the mix too, providing Cascade Christian with two scores.

Cascade Christian's win was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-0. The team's perfect season has a lot to do with their offensive performance: the team's won by an average of 42.1 points thus far. As for North Valley, their loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 5-2.

Coming up, Cascade Christian will be playing at home against Lakeview at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Challengers are facing the Honkers at the right time seeing as the Honkers are stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for North Valley, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Klamath Union at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
