Preview: Fowler Redcats vs. Riverdale Cowboys
Fowler is 10-0 against Riverdale since January of 2019, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Fowler Redcats will be playing at home against the Riverdale Cowboys at 5:30 p.m. Fowler will be looking to keep their four-game home win streak alive.
In what's become a running theme this season, Fowler gave their fans yet another huge victory on Tuesday. They claimed a resounding 50-18 win over Minarets at home. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Fowler has posted against Minarets since February 4, 2020.
Riverdale suffered their biggest defeat yet this season on Tuesday. They were dealt a 86-8 loss at the hands of Caruthers. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Riverdale has scored all season.
Karen Ayala was Riverdale's leading scorer, having posted four points.
Fowler has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-9 record this season. As for Riverdale, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost eight of their last nine games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-12 record this season.
Everything came up roses for Fowler against Riverdale in their previous meeting back in January of 2023 as the squad secured a 59-17 win. Does Fowler have another victory up their sleeve, or will Riverdale turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
