Soccer Game Preview: South Paulding vs. Paulding County

The South Paulding Spartans will face off against the Paulding County Patriots at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The timing is sure in South Paulding's favor as the squad sits on three straight wins at home while Paulding County has been banged up by six consecutive losses on the road.

South Paulding's defense heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed last Thursday. They came out on top against Cartersville by a score of 2-0. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but South Paulding were the better team in the second half.

Meanwhile, Thursday just wasn't the day for Paulding County's offense. They came up short against South Cobb last Thursday, falling 9-0.

Paulding County's loss dropped their record down to 3-13. As for South Paulding, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-6 record this season.
