It was a good run, but Bremen unfortunately witnessed the end of their ten-game winning streak on Wednesday. They took a 6-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Callaway Cavaliers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Blue Devils of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2022.

Bremen got a good showing from Cooper Mincey, who pitched 3.1 innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits. Mincey has been consistent : he hasn't given up more than one earned run in five consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Dylan Huey was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run and stealing a base while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Cole Mckenzie, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases.

Bremen's loss dropped their record down to 18-10. As for Callaway, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 18-10.

Looking ahead, Bremen will challenge Bowdon at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Callaway, they will face off against Newnan at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
