The Upper Lake Cougars will head out on the road to square off against the Fort Bragg Timberwolves at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Upper Lake's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Upper Lake is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of California's top teams: Kelseyville, who was ranked second at the time (Upper Lake was ranked 20th). The Cougars lost 8-0 to the Knights on Tuesday. Upper Lake fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against Kelseyville since Tuesday.
