Baseball Game Preview: Schley County Wildcats vs. Jordan Red Jackets

The Schley County Wildcats will head out to take on the Jordan Red Jackets at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

On Friday, Schley County came up short against Wilcox County and fell 8-3. The defeat continues a trend for the Wildcats in their meetings with the Patriots: they've now lost three in a row.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 12 runs the game before, Jordan was a bit more limited in their matchup on Tuesday. They lost 12-2 to Peach County.

Jordan's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Schley County, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Schley County got the 'W' in their previous matchup back in April of 2025 against Jordan by a conclusive 12-2 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Wildcats since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
