Festus lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Seckman, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Tuesday's   matchup. The Tigers were the clear victors by  a  7-1 margin over the Jaguars on Tuesday. The Tigers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine games by six  runs or more this season.
 Ava Oberle spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered a  run (which was  unearned)  on seven hits and racked up 11 Ks.
 On the hitting side,  the team  relied heavily on  Keeleigh Hankins, who  went 2-for-4 with one  home run, one  triple,  and two  RBI. That  triple marked the first that  she has  hit this season. Another player making a difference was  Mia Metzger, who  went 2-for-4 with one  home run and one  double.
 They weren't the only ones working in the  home run department: Festus  lost a few balls and  finished the game with two  home runs. That's the most  home runs they've managed all season.
Festus pushed their record up to 13-2 with the  win, which was their fifth straight  on the road. Those  road  victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.8 runs on average over those games. As for Seckman, their loss dropped their record down to 10-8.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming  contests. Festus will take on Jefferson at 4:30  p.m.  on Thursday. As for Seckman, they will square off against Lindbergh at 4:15  p.m.  on Wednesday.
