Winder-Barrow barely beat Clarke Central the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Bulldoggs put the hurt on the Gladiators with a sharp 7-1 win on Wednesday. The victory was familiar territory for the Bulldoggs, who have now won nine contests in a row.

Winder-Barrow's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-5. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. As for Clarke Central, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 12-13.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Winder-Barrow will head out to challenge Mill Creek at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Clarke Central, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Loganville at 5:55 p.m. on the 14th.
