Basketball Recap: Kate Boerner Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Springside Chestnut Hill Academy

A well-balanced attack led Episcopal Academy over Springside Chestnut Hill Academy in every quarter on their way to victory on Tuesday. Everything went the Episcopal Academy Churchmen's way against the Springside Chestnut Hill Academy Blue Devils as the Episcopal Academy Churchmen made off with a 40-20 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 64-38 back in January.

Episcopal Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kate Boerner, who posted ten points and four steals. Boerner has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times she's played. Another player making a difference was Caitlin Mccarthy, who scored seven points and four steals.

Episcopal Academy's record now sits at 9-11-1. As for Springside Chestnut Hill Academy, they dropped their record down to 2-9 with the loss, which was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Episcopal Academy will take on Agnes Irwin at 4:00 p.m. on February 11th. Springside Chestnut Hill Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
