Soccer Recap: Scotts Valley Plays to a Tie

On Monday, the Scotts Valley Falcons and the Monte Vista Christian Mustangs finished up on equal footing with a 1-1 draw.

Scotts Valley's goal came courtesy of Ella Ireland, which was the first she's scored this season.

With that draw, Scotts Valley's record moves to 1-2-2. Meanwhile, Monte Vista Christian's record is now 2-1-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Scotts Valley will be taking part in a tournament against Lynbrook at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Scotts Valley's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end. As for Monte Vista Christian, they will head out on the road to face off against Christopher at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
