Basketball Recap: Bowlegs Gets the Win

Bowlegs hadn't done well against Mason recently (they were 1-7 in their previous eight matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Bison came out on top against the Eagles by a score of 50-42. That's more bragging rights for the Bison, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Cayxin Parson was a one-man wrecking crew as he shot 44% from the field on his way to 20 points and five rebounds. Kingston Burgess was another key player, putting up eight points and six boards.

Bowlegs now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Mason, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

Coming up, Bowlegs will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Graham/Dustin at 7:30 p.m. The Bison's defense better be ready for this one: the RiverHawk have averaged an impressive 53.4 points per game this season. As for Mason, they are taking a road trip to take on Paden at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
