Soccer Recap: Ygnacio Valley Takes a Loss

While it was all tied up 0-0 at halftime, Ygnacio Valley was not quite Deer Valley's equal in the second half on Friday. They fell just short of the Deer Valley Wolverines by a score of 1-0. Wolves just can't catch a break and have now endured four defeats in a row.

Ygnacio Valley's loss dropped their record down to 1-7-1. As for Deer Valley, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ygnacio Valley will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Concord at 7:00 p.m. on January 14, 2025. After both having extra time off, Deer Valley and Antioch will shake off the cobwebs and challenge one another at 6:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
