Basketball Game Preview: Bravo Knights vs. Wilson Mules

The Bravo Knights will face off against the Wilson Mules at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

Bravo is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Beverly Hills just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Friday. They fell just short of the Normans by a score of 32-30. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Knights have suffered since January 6, 2024.

While Wilson didn't have the best season last year (they finished 10-15), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They took their game back in December of 2024 with ease, bagging a 45-4 victory over Torres. That 41 point margin sets a new team best for the Mules this season.

Bravo better keep an eye on Emily Montufar. She was instrumental in Wilson's win, putting up 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Giselle Felix, who posted nine points.

Wilson has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 24.2 points per game. As for Bravo, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-6.

Bravo and Wilson were neck-and-neck when the teams last played back in January of 2024, but Bravo came up empty-handed after a 37-36 loss. Can Bravo avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
