Basketball Recap: King Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact King can now relate to. They took a 57-47 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Esperanza Aztecs on Saturday. The defeat continues a trend for the Wolves in their matchups with the Aztecs: they've now lost three in a row.

King's loss dropped their record down to 24-7. As for Esperanza, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 20-10 record this season.

King does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Esperanza, they will take on Brentwood School at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a three-game winning streak alive.
