Softball Recap: John Milledge Academy Falls Short of Westfield School in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact John Milledge Academy can now relate to. They took a 6-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Westfield School Hornets on Saturday. Unfortunately, that's the fourth time they've come up short against the Hornets this season, with their most recent loss being a 10-0 defeat on Thursday.

Laila Pounds was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-2 with one home run. That home run marked the first that she has launched this season.
