Baseball Recap: Georgia Military College Comes Up Short at Home Against Baldwin

Georgia Military College unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They took an 8-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Baldwin Braves on Monday. If the Bulldogs were looking for revenge after losing 6-5 to them when the teams met back in February of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Eli Griffith was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 2-for-3. Those two stolen bases gave him a new career-high.

Looking ahead, Georgia Military College will look to defend their home field on February 17th against Jasper County at 5:30 p.m. As for Baldwin, they are taking a road trip to face off against Peach County at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
