Recap: Nogales Nobles vs. Workman Lobos
The Nogales Nobles scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Monday. They claimed a resounding 66-34 win over Workman on the road. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Nogales.
Nogales was led to victory by Ariana Martinez and Jordin Glass. Martinez scored 20 points, while Glass scored 26 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Martinez has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Shady Robles, who scored nine points.
Nogales is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a massive bump to their 8-11 record this season. As for Workman, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-22.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Nogales will be staying on the road on Wednesday to face off against the Falcons at 5:30 p.m. on January 31st. Duarte will be looking to keep their three-game home win streak alive. As for Workman, they will head out on the road to take on the Aztecs at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
