Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Purcell). They walked away with a 9-4 victory over the Cushing Tigers on Tuesday. The team's explosion at the plate also rewarded the Dragons with their most commanding win of the season.

Purcell has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-12 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.5 runs on average over those games. As for Cushing, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-11.

Looking ahead, Purcell will square off against Newcastle at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Racers' pitching crew has only allowed 3.5 runs per game this season, so the Dragons' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Cushing, they will welcome Berryhill at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
