Softball Recap: Early County Takes a Loss

Early County lost against Southwest Georgia STEM Charter back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Bobcats came up short against the Aggies, falling 18-2. The Bobcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Early County saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lailah Means, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one double and one RBI.

Early County's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Early County will venture away from home to face off against Pataula Charter Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Southwest Georgia STEM Charter, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Deerfield-Windsor at 4:00 p.m. on September 8.
