Recap: Simi Valley Pioneers vs. Kennedy Cougars
The Simi Valley Pioneers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their sixth straight loss. They fell 47-36 to Kennedy. While losing is never fun, Simi Valley can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 904th, while Kennedy is ranked 318th).
Sahasra Anne was Simi Valley's leading scorer, having posted five points.
Jia Parada held things down on the boards with nine rebounds.
The last time Simi Valley won on the road was back last Tuesday. Having now lost four straight away matches, they've bumped their record down to 1-7. As for Kennedy, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 4-1.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Simi Valley is on the road again on Tuesday and play against Vaughn at 7:00 p.m. on December 5th. Hopefully Panorama focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 16 on Friday.
