Basketball Recap: Reseda Drops Highest Score of Season Against Panorama

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Reseda). They breezed past the Panorama Pythons to the tune of 68-39 on Wednesday. The Regents have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five matchups by 24 points or more this season.

Reseda's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Zahra Numa, who posted 28 points. The game was Numa's third in a row with at least 18 points. Another player making a difference was Olivia Rosales, who had 19 points.

Panorama lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was VALERY QUEZADA, who put up 15 points in addition to six rebounds and three steals. That was a full 38.5% of Panorama's points, marking the fourth time in a row she's scored more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of YESSENIA QUEZADA, who almost dropped a double-double with 15 points and nine boards.

Reseda is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a massive bump to their 6-9 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.2 points over those games. As for Panorama, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-13.

Reseda does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Panorama, they will host Van Nuys at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
