Softball Recap: Lanier County's Undefeated Season over After Four Games + How To Watch

After soaring to ten runs the game before, Lanier County was a bit more limited in their game on Saturday. They fell 6-2 to the Tift County Blue Devils. The loss was the Bulldogs' first of the season.

Lanier County saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brilee Burkhalter, who went 1-for-3 with one home run. Burkhalter is on a roll when it comes to home runs, as she's now launched at least one in each of the last three games she's played.

Having lost for the first time this season, Lanier County fell to 3-1. As for Tift County, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-1.

Lanier County didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 5-4 defeat against Lee County on the 16th. As for Tift County, they have also already played their next contest, a 4-3 victory against Cook on the 19th.
