Softball Recap: West Fork Takes a Loss

West Fork was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 6-5 heartbreaker at the hands of the Newman Catholic Knights. If the Warhawks were looking for revenge after losing 5-1 to the Knights when the teams met back in June of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

West Fork's loss dropped their record down to 10-4. As for Newman Catholic, their win bumped their record up to 10-2.

West Fork has already played their next contest (against Northwood-Kensett), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Newman Catholic, they have also already played their next game, a 10-0 victory against Nashua-Plainfield on the 20th.
