Montgomery has gone 9-1 against Ukiah recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Montgomery Vikings will welcome the Ukiah Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. Montgomery's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for six straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Montgomery managed to keep up with Cardinal Newman until halftime on Thursday, but things quickly went downhill from there. Montgomery lost 4-1 to Cardinal Newman.

Meanwhile, Ukiah hadn't done well against Maria Carrillo recently (they were 0-8 in their previous eight matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. Ukiah never let Maria Carrillo onto the board and left with a 1-0 win. Given the Wildcats' advantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 207th, while the Pumas are ranked 426th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Ukiah's one-goal win came courtesy of Allie Huff, who's now up to five this season.

Ukiah's victory was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-3-1. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 26 goals over those seven matches. As for Montgomery, their loss dropped their record down to 7-5-2.
