The Paradise Honors Panthers will face off against the Snowflake Lobos at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.
Paradise Honors picked up another tournament win on Friday. They blew past Benjamin Franklin 12-2. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Panthers.
Liam Whalen and Boeden Forquer did most of the damage at the plate: Whalen got on base in all three of his plate appearances with three stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI, while Forquer went 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. That's the most runs Forquer has posted since back in April of 2025. Grayson Leonardis was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two RBI and one run.
Paradise Honors was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .391. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Benjamin Franklin only posted a batting average of .200.
Meanwhile, Snowflake had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They put the hurt on ALA - Ironwood with a sharp 8-2 victory on Thursday. The Lobos haven't had any issues with the Warriors recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.
Snowflake let Edge Bryant and Tate Matthews run wild. Bryant went 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI, while Matthews got on base in two of his four plate appearances with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Nate Hall, who went 1-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.
Everything went Paradise Honors' way against Snowflake when the teams last played back in May of 2019, as Paradise Honors made off with a 16-1 victory. Will the Panthers repeat their success, or do the Lobos have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
