Football Game Preview: McAlester Buffaloes vs. Booker T. Washington Hornets

The McAlester Buffaloes will take on the Booker T. Washington Hornets at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Booker T. Washington will be up against a hot McAlester team: the squad just extended their winning streak to three. The Buffaloes walked away with a 31-23 victory over Bishop Kelley on Friday.

Jordan Clark and Brody Parker were among the main playmakers for McAlester as the former gained 133 total yards and a touchdown and the latter threw for 199 yards and two touchdowns. With that strong performance, Clark is now averaging an impressive 102.7 rushing yards per game.

Meanwhile, while Booker T. Washington put up plenty of points on Thursday, the same can't be said for East Central. The Hornets blew past the Cardinals, posting a 48-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Hornets, who have now won four games by 28 points or more so far this season.

Booker T. Washington's victory bumped their record up to 5-2. As for McAlester, their win bumped their record up to 3-4.
