Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Georgia Christian). They were the clear victors by a 19-2 margin over the Community Christian Academy Eagles on Monday. Considering the Generals have won 11 matchups by more than six runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Jett Guilliams was a major factor no matter where he played. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out seven over four innings pitched. He has been consistent : he hasn't given up a single earned run in five consecutive appearances. He was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring four runs and stealing a base while getting on base in all five of his plate appearances. Those four runs gave him a new career-high.

In other batting news, Georgia Christian got a massive performance out of Colton Hall, who scored four runs and stole two bases while getting on base in all five of his plate appearances. What's more, Hall posted three hits, the most he's had since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Hayden Coats, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 3-for-5.

Georgia Christian's win was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-1. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.8 runs on average over those games. As for Community Christian Academy, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.

Looking ahead, Georgia Christian will venture away from home to face off against Southwest Georgia Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Generals 1.9, the Warriors 3.1) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for Community Christian Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Central Georgia Arts at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
