Basketball Recap: Claysburg-Kimmel Comes Up Short

Claysburg-Kimmel came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They took a blow against the Northern Bedford County Panthers, falling 55-26. The Bulldogs were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Panthers earlier this season, when they won 33-32.

Claysburg-Kimmel's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Bella Francona, who posted six points along with six boards and four steals. With that strong performance, Francona is now averaging an impressive 2 steals per game. Another player making a difference was Zailee Bush, who dropped a double-double with ten points and ten rebounds.
