Mohawk Area managed to keep up with Mercer until halftime on Tuesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Warriors came up short against the Mustangs, falling 5-0. The defeat leaves Mohawk Area still looking for their first win of the season.

Mohawk Area's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Mercer, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mohawk Area will challenge Avonworth at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Mercer, they will take on West Middlesex at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
