Basketball Recap: Sunnyside Wildcats vs. Fresno Warriors        
        
		
            
 The Sunnyside Wildcats's recent rough patch got a bit rougher  on Wednesday after their eighth straight  defeat. Their  tough  58-37 defeat to Fresno  might stick with them for a while. Sunnyside has not had much luck with the Warriors recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
 Despite the loss, Sunnyside still got an impressive performance from   Ruby Cartwright, who  scored 20 points along with five  steals. Cartwright is on a roll when it comes to  steals, as she's  now  grabbed two or more in the last 22 games she's  played.
 Sunnyside has  traveled a rocky road recently having  lost 12 of their last 13 contests,  which put a noticeable dent in their 7-18 record this season. As for Fresno,  the  win  makes it two in a row for them and  bumps their season record up to 17-8.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sunnyside will take on the Toros at 6:30  p.m.  on Thursday. As for Fresno, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the Hornets at 6:30  p.m.  on Friday. Sanger West has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
