Softball Recap: Northeast Takes a Loss

Northeast was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They came up short against the Academy for Classical Education Gryphons, falling 18-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Gryphons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-0 back in August.

Northeast's defeat dropped their record down to 3-13. As for Academy for Classical Education, they have been performing well recently as they've won 13 of their last 16 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-8 record this season.

Northeast didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 16-1 loss against Central on the 24th. As for Academy for Classical Education, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, an 11-6 defeat against Vidalia on the 24th.
