Baseball Recap: Carlyle Comes Up Short

Carlyle was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss. They fell 8-3 to the Nashville Hornets. If the Indians were looking for revenge after losing 9-2 to the Hornets when the teams met back in April of 2025, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Carlyle's defeat dropped their record down to 6-16. As for Nashville, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 20-2.

Carlyle didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 20-0 loss against Wesclin on the 7th. As for Nashville, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-1 defeat against Gibault Catholic on the 7th.
