Baseball Recap: Orleans Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Win

Orleans came tearing into Tuesday's game with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 4-3 W against the Paoli Rams. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 5-1 last Tuesday.

Grady Springer made a big impact no matter where he played. He tossed 2.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Springer was also big at the plate, going 1-for-4 with one home run and two runs. Orleans is 5-1 when Springer posts two or more runs, but 6-7 otherwise.

Springer wasn't the only one making solid contact as three players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Kaden Berning, who went 2-for-4 with one RBI.

Orleans' record now sits at 11-8. As for Paoli, their loss dropped their record down to 12-8.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Orleans will take on Springs Valley at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Paoli, they will face off against North Harrison at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
