Softball Recap: Tupelo Takes a Loss

Tupelo was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against Roff, falling 12-1. The match marked Tupelo's lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Tupelo's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Roff, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-3.

Tupelo wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 3-2 loss against Whitesboro on the 22nd. As for Roff, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 6-1 defeat against Latta on the 22nd.
