Basketball Recap: South Iredell Takes a Loss

South Iredell was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They came up short against the Hickory Ridge Ragin' Bulls, falling 88-64. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Ragin' Bulls this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 68-46 back in January.

Despite the loss, South Iredell still got an impressive performance from Tyrin Mann, who dropped a double-double with 14 points and 16 boards. With that strong performance, Mann is now averaging an impressive 8.4 rebounds per game.

South Iredell's loss dropped their record down to 4-16. As for Hickory Ridge, their record now sits at 10-11.

South Iredell wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 64-36 defeat against Mooresville on the 4th. As for Hickory Ridge, they have also already played their next matchup, a 73-67 loss against Lake Norman on the 4th.
