Baseball Recap: Centennial Gets the Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Putnam, Centennial was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They never let the North Salem Vikings get on the board and left with a 10-0 victory. Considering the Eagles' hitters had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

Logan Landolt was incredible, going 2-for-3 with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. That's the most runs he has posted since back in April. Sawyer Walton was another key player, going a perfect 1-for-1 with one run and one RBI.

Centennial always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .581. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Centennial's win bumped their record up to 8-16. As for North Salem, they are on an 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-17.

Looking ahead, Centennial will host Hood River Valley at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for North Salem, they will take on Forest Grove at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
