Baseball Recap: McIntosh Comes Up Short

If McIntosh was feeling good fresh off their 11-4 takedown of Lovejoy on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Chiefs fell 5-2 to the Wildcats on Thursday. The Chiefs were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Wildcats earlier this season, when they won 11-4.

McIntosh's loss dropped their record down to 12-17. As for Lovejoy, they moved to 7-18 with that victory, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

Looking ahead, McIntosh will face off against Whitewater at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Lovejoy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
