Paideia took a eight-run defeat the last time they faced off against Fellowship Christian, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. Paideia won by a run and slipped past Fellowship Christian 4-3. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Pythons have posted since February 25th.

Paideia is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-8 record this season. Fellowship Christian moved to 13-5 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Paideia is set to face off against their familiar foe St. Francis at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Fellowship Christian will square off against rival The Weber School at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Fellowship Christian 3.8, The Weber School 3.8) so any runs scored will be well earned.
