Softball Recap: Kearney Comes Up Short in High-Profile Contest with Lincoln Southwest

Kearney faced Lincoln Southwest in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Bearcats fell 5-0 to the Silver Hawks. The contest marked the first time this year in which the Bearcats were not able to get on the board.

Kearney's defeat dropped their record down to 16-9. As for Lincoln Southwest, they pushed their record up to 20-2 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home.
