Meanwhile, after a string of six wins, Appling County's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They fell just short of Vidalia by a score of 6-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Pirates have suffered since February 21st.

Crisp County's win bumped their record up to 8-16. As for Appling County, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-10.
